2025 NACOCHR Report
On behalf of Region 8 Director Tim Smith, Region 8 Assistant Director, George Palmer International Servicing Representative Mike Maddox, RACOCHR Council President Stephen Loomis, Vice President Paul Madison, Recording Secretary Vicki Meadows, Secretary Treasurer Marquetta Hawkins, LGTBQ Chair James Wolfe and Member at Large Dan Davila.
We are here today at a pivotal moment in time when the pursuit of equality, dignity and justice remains as urgent as ever. Across the globe we witness both progress and persistent challenges reminding us that the work of safeguarding Civil and Human Rights is not a milestone to be reached, but a continuous journey.
This Advisory Council meeting is more than a meeting of minds. It is a call to action. Here, we will confront systematic inequalities, amplify, marginalized, voices, and forge strategies to ensure that every individual, regardless of race, gender, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status can live with freedom, safety, and opportunity.
The road ahead, demands courage, collaboration, and unwavering commitment. Let us challenge complacently and turn dialogue into tangible change.
